High school entries that receive a rating of superior at districts are qualified to apply for State MPA. At this event, students are evaluated by a highly select panel of adjudicators at a state level adjudication.
Directors must report to the on-site FVA office at least 30 minutes before their first entry is due in warm-up (choirs) or to perform (solos & ensembles). At that time, directors must turn in the required paperwork.
Medals are available for MS/JH and Sr. High Superior performances at District Concert and S&E MPA’s. Plaques are also available to MS/JH choirs that earn Superior ratings. Directors should receive from the District Chairman an Order Form with eligibility information upon checkout at the final MPA. The following file provides ordering information.
Complete registration includes registering online, and submitting the Registration Form with payment and printed roster of all events to Betty Jo Couch, Business Manager. Failure to submit any of these items by the stated deadline will delay scheduling of your school. See State MPA Information Bulletin for more complete details.
