Congratulations to Gabriela Serpa, the 2019 recipient of FVA’s Elaine McNamara Scholarship! Gabriela was an active participant in FVA All-State Choruses and Music Performance Assessments as a choral student at Forest Glen Middle School (Anthony Zoeller, director) and Coral Springs High School (Mary Catherine Salo, director) in Broward County.

She is now a freshman choral music education major at Florida State University, and was thrilled to recently meet the scholarship’s namesake, former FVA Executive Director and Hall of Fame Member, Elaine McNamara. Applications for next year’s scholarship will be due from college freshmen in the Fall!
