

The Florida Vocal Association bestows $500 Elaine C. McNamara Scholarships annually to one or more applicants who:
- is a first-year freshman in college
- is majoring in Music Education with a choral emphasis
- has participated in a high school chorus for at least 3 years
- has maintained a 3.5 GPA in music for those 3 years
- has maintained a 2.5 GPA overall for those 3 years
- has exhibited leadership in their high school chorus
- has participated in FVA Music Performance Assessments
The winner(s) of the non-renewable scholarship will be announced at the FMEA Professional Development Conference in January.
