Scholarships

The Florida Vocal Association bestows $500 Elaine C. McNamara Scholarships annually to one or more applicant(s) who:

  • is a first-year freshman in college
  • is majoring in Music Education with a choral emphasis
  • has participated in a high school chorus for at least 3 years
  • has maintained a 3.5 GPA in music for those 3 years
  • has maintained a 2.5 overall GPA for those 3 years
  • has exhibited leadership in their high school chorus
  • has participated in FVA Music Performance Assessments

The winner(s) of the non-renewable scholarship will be announced at the FMEA Professional Development Conference in January.
